This privacy policy explains how QueenRay (operated by the company registered under CVR 42914932, Denmark) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit queenray.com or place an order. This policy is compliant with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
Data we collect
When you place an order: name, billing and delivery address, email, phone (if provided), payment method details (processed by Shopify and the payment provider. We do not store full card numbers), and your order history.
When you browse without purchasing: anonymous analytics (pages viewed, referring site, device type) and. With your consent. Meta and Google advertising cookies.
When you contact us: the email address and content of your message.
Why we collect it
- Order fulfilment. Mandatory for the contract. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Customer service. To respond to your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Marketing. Only if you opt in at checkout or via our newsletter. Legal basis: consent.
- Analytics. To improve the site. Legal basis: consent (via cookie banner).
- Legal compliance. Invoices, tax records, etc. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Who we share it with
- Shopify. Hosting, payment processing
- Klarna / Clearpay. Only if you use them at checkout
- Our warehouse partner. For shipping
- Carriers (UPS / DPD / PostNord). Delivery only
- Email platform. Transactional and (with consent) marketing emails
We never sell your data. We never share data with anyone not required to fulfil your order or communicate with you with your consent.
Data retention
Order data: 5 years after your last purchase (required for accounting/tax compliance in Denmark).
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
Support email correspondence: 2 years.
International transfers
Some of our processors (Shopify, email platform) are based outside the EEA. All transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions as required under UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (ICO in the UK; Datatilsynet in Denmark; your local DPA elsewhere in the EU). Email hello@queenray.com to exercise these rights. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The cookie banner on our site lets you choose what you allow. Strictly necessary cookies (cart, checkout, security) cannot be disabled. Analytics and marketing cookies are opt-in and can be changed at any time via the banner.

If we make material changes we'll update this page and email customers who have an active order or account.
